TAX-id

When importing goods from abroad, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) considers you the ultimate importer. For customs clearance purposes, your
identification number (such as an EIN or Social Security Number) is required on Form 7501. Without this number, goods may be held or returned. Courier services
also require an identification number for electronic CBP entries; otherwise, a time-consuming paper entry may be required. For packages under $525 shipped via
international postal services, an importer number is typically not required.

Validity

The Goldbergh gift card remains valid for 24 months (2 years) from the date of purchase, including any remaining balance.

Always wash your Goldbergh item with like colors to prevent color mixing and maintain color brightness.

Inside out:
Turn the garment inside out before placing it in the washing machine. This helps protect the outside of the garment and preserve prints or embellishments. Additionally,
it's important to remove the belt before washing.

Close zippers:
Close all zippers and buttons before washing the garment to prevent damage to other items of clothing and ensure that the zipper remains in good working order.

Re-impregnation

Over time and with repeated washing, the water repellency of a Goldbergh item may decrease. Therefore, it is advisable to re-impregnate some Goldbergh items.

Steps to re-impregnate your Goldbergh item.

Choose the right impregnation product:
There are various impregnation products available, such as sprays, liquids, or detergents. Make sure to choose a product suitable for the material of your item (e.g., synthetic, cotton, or special materials like Gore-Tex).

Before impregnating the item, it's important to clean it thoroughly according to the instructions on the label. This ensures that the impregnation product can adhere well to the fabric.

Apply the impregnation product:
Go to a well-ventilated area or outdoors and apply the impregnation product evenly to
the outside of the item. Follow the instructions on the product packaging carefully. Make sure to cover all parts of the item, including seams and zippers.

Let the item dry:
Allow the item to dry completely according to the instructions on the impregnation product. This may involve air-drying the item or using a low temperature setting in the dryer.

It's advisable to regularly check if the water repellency of your item is still effective, especially after washing. If necessary, you can repeat the impregnation process to ensure that your item remains optimally protected against moisture.

Drycleaning

Goldbergh items can be taken to the dry cleaner, provided it is indicated on the care label. However, it's important to note that any damage that occurs from cleaning outside the washing instructions is not covered under warranty.

Down

For Goldbergh items with down, extra care is necessary. After washing, down feathers can clump together, causing them to become lumpy in the garment. It's essential to properly dry down items.

The best method is to lay the item flat to dry instead of hanging it, to prevent the down from shifting downward and to maintain its proper shape. During drying,
it's important to shake and fluff the garment regularly to separate the
feathers and restore their volume.

Some Goldbergh items can be tumble dried. In such cases, using dryer balls is recommended to help keep the down in place and evenly distributed during the drying process. This helps preserve the quality of the down and ensures the garment retains its original shape and volume.

Fur

At Goldbergh, we have updated our policy and no longer use real fur in our products.
