From her earliest years, Alexandra felt a calling to skiing that shaped her life’s path. At five, she told everyone she’d one day be a ski world champion, a bold dream she pursued relentlessly. “Skiing has always been my great passion,” she reflects.
Twenty years later, Alexandra made that dream a reality, achieving titles as a double world champion and Overall World Cup winner. These moments, she recalls, were transformative. But the journey wasn’t without hardship. She recalls the challenges of returning from injury, saying, “It was never easy and never comfortable, but I loved it.” Even after reaching the top, Alexandra still finds joy in simple things—mornings on the mountain, the feeling of snow underfoot, and the serenity of nature.
Alexandra’s partnership with Goldbergh came naturally, given her connection to the mountains. “The mountains are like nature’s gold,” she says, a source of countless “golden moments” over her career. To her, Goldbergh represents elegance, style, and a deep connection to nature. “Wearing Goldbergh fills me with pride,” she says, whether she’s on TV, on the slopes, or at an event. “It’s more than clothes; it’s a lifestyle.”
As an elite athlete, Alexandra values gear that balances style and function. “I don’t want to have to choose between the two,” she says. Her Goldbergh ski wear needs to perform in all conditions, from cold to warm days, while still looking great. “And like all women, I want to look good in it,” she adds.
Reflecting on her career, she sees how her perspective on style has evolved since her racing days. “In my active time, it was all about winning gold. Now, I can give more space to the beautiful and special,” she says, appreciating Goldbergh’s unique, non-mainstream aesthetic.
